Author Events for Naida West

Naida West will be spending most of her time in 2007 finishing her third novel in her trilogy: Rest for the Wicked. She hopes it will be finished before the end of the year. She also hopes it will be ready for print sometime in spring 2008.

Sept. 15 Book signing, Art and Literature in Elk Grove, Todo un Poco Pizza & Bistro grounds, 9080 Laguna Main Street.

Oct. 6 Book signing at Gold Rush Days: Calaveras Grape Stomp and Street Faire, Murphys, CA.
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Oct. 7 Book signing at the Sheldon Historical Festival, in the town of Sheldon, on Grant Line Road.
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Oct. 27 Book signing, Boa Vista Orchards in Apple Hill
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Oct. 28 Lead tour of ranch and home for the Elk Grove Historical Society.

Jan. 26 Celebrating Marysville's Golden History Day

Event to begin at 10 a.m. Naida to speak at 11 a.m.
Books available for signing. Open to public free of charge.
April 19 "Jed Smith and the Native People of California: A Novelist's Prespective"
Luncheon Speaker, Jedediah Smith Society, Ironstone Winery, Middle Floor of store, Murphys, CA.
12:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Books available for signing. Copy of remarks will be published in the summer issue of Castor Canadensis, the Society Newsletter. Nonmembers are welcome.

April 20 Speaker, Annual Authors' Day Luncheon at the Shakespeare Club of Placerville, CA, 2940 Bedford Avenue, just off Hwy 50.
Doors open at 1 p.m. Presentations to begin at 1:30.
In addition to Naida West, presenters will include Irene Spencer, Pamela Masters, and Joan Barsotti. Books will be available for signing.
